Attendance Guidelines

Updated TYE Attendance Guidelines – Effective January 21, 2025

On January 21, 2025, new TYE Attendance Guidelines were implemented, significantly increasing restrictions. Under this updated policy, no distinction is made between assigned and unassigned service. All TY&E (Train, Yard, and Engine) employees are treated the same, regardless of whether they have access to rest.

Click the link below to download a copy of the Preventive Appointment Verification Form. This form must be completed by your doctor when attending any of the 3 preventive care appointments granted by the 2022 National Agreement. Failure to sumbit a completed copy of this form will result in attendance points being assessed for attending these appointments.
